Thiamidol(R) is an effective and patented ingredient that acts at the root cause of hyperpigmentation. Thiamidol is clinically proven to reduce hyperpigmentation on all skin types, preventing its re-appearance with regular usage. The active was developed in over 10 years of research based on screening of a library of 50,000 compounds.
Licochalcone A
Licochalcone A is a powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and skin-soothing ingredient. It is derived from the root of the Chinese Licorice plant (Glycyrrhiza Inflata) which uses natural compounds to protect its cells from excessive sunlight. When used in skincare products, Licochalcone A works to reduce inflammation and neutralize free radicals that negatively influence skin cells and accelerate the aging process. It helps to protect the deeper epidermal skin layers from sun-induced effects.

And, with SPF 30, it also protects skin from the sun helping to reduce further sun-induced pigmentation issues. For optimal results we recommend that you use it in combination with other products in the Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector range.
